About Aarohan

Aarohan, the annual Amrita science fest is an initiative of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, to foster a bond between an institution of higher education and schools. Amrita has successfully hosted Aarohan for ten consecutive years and the eleventh edition is scheduled on 24th and 25th October, 2019.

What do we have in store?

Aarohan'19 features 8 events in junior category and 6 events in senior category. Each event has been planned in such a way that the students enjoy it thoroughly as they learn something new from it.

What makes it exciting?

The winners are awarded certificates and cash prizes worth 4 lakhs and the school with highest number of event victories will be crowned the overall champions. With 14 events on the board, there is a lot to be won.

Categories

The students will be divided into two categories based on their age group. Students studying in Class 8,9 and 10 will come under junior category and those in Class 11 and 12 will come under the senior category. There will be seperate events for both the categories.

Registration

There is no registration fee for Aarohan. All the schools that wish to attend the fest can click on the below button to register for the event. On registering a link will be mailed to the respective schools using which, details about the attending students and faculty will be collected. Based on the provided information, kits for the students will be prepared which can be collected on the day of the fest.

How to get here

By Bus: The Campus is located in south Bengaluru on a road connecting Sarjapur Road and Hosur Road and is about 2 kilometers from Kaikondranahalli busstop on Sarjapur Road. BMTC buses ply right upto the campus gate from city center places like Majestic & City Market. The campus can also be accessed from Hosur Road, about 5 kms before the Electronic City. Any bus towards Sarjapura will take one to Kaikondanahalli, one stop before Wipro's Corporate Office.

Bus Routes: Bus Number 340 L from Majestic to college main gate and 341 B from KR Market to college. 342 F (From Majestic), 342 A, 342 B, 342 C, 342 D (From City Market) - Passes through Kaikondranahalli, the nearest bus stop is Off Sarjapura main road.
